Well I never! Guess What?
TheWord looked for a flaw
in ALZ and he found a flaw!
God be praised and break out the bubbly!
What a clever little attention-seeker he is.
TheWord may be full or misery
but he's as sharp as a tack
when it comes to finding
a fault and creating
fear and distrust.
Though he dare not buy any ALZ shares (lest the
sky falls and crushes him to death) he spends
hours pouring over ALZ's performance data
desperate to find something (anything) to
base his next anti-ALZ diatribe on.
Why does he go to such sad and grotesque
lengths over a share he doesn't own and
has no intention of ever owning?
TheWord is one of those anxious people
who would rather be right than happy.
TheWord simply HAS to be right no matter
what it costs him in angst and misery.
What a terrible way to go though life!
TheWord is the sort of person who
if you wished him 'Good Morning'
on a lovely spring day would
respond with a pained face:
"What's good about it! There's some dog
dodo on the footpath that should not be
there - and a bird shat on my lawn!"
There is another way of looking at life
(other than from an anal perspective).
I looked for what's good about ALZ
and I'm as happy as a lark
with its managers, my
dividends and my
capital growth.
I don't want to be the bearer of sad
tidings but every form of investment
and every piece of property or share
or managed fund or lump of gold that
put our money into - even hugging our
lovely money to our frightened bosoms
(and doing nothing but breathing) has a
risk and faults attached to it - risks that
no amount thinking, planning or elegant
algorithsm, charts and high-paid analysts
can banish to make shares a walk in park.
TheWord is on a crusade (to create fear and
loathing) and he won't rest until we're all as
frightened and as miserable as TheWord is:
When all else fails...
... try group therapy.
