it does not matter if they have their answers at the tip of their tongue. The issue is to give a clearcut answer, whether the answer is truthful will be borne out by subsequent behaviour and the world at large can form the appropriate views.
I think we should give our intelligence a lot more credit than implying we can easily be led.
