World economic growth is still flying as an accelerating China offsets a slowdown in the US economy and the global credit crunch, Access Economics says.
"The story of 2007 is not the US weakening amid the sub-prime mortgage meltdown - it is the accelerating in China," Access economist Chris Richardson said.
"The latter is underpinning great output growth in Australia as we gear up to sell into the biggest global boom since the Beatles."
