Personalisation

It's easy to see exactly why P&G are heading down the Personalisation route, as everybody else is either already doing it or predicted products are in advanced stages for commercialisation.  Philips already has many currently available and one example is the PHILIPS Eye Brightener.  Interesting that PHILIPS are advertising this new device on Hotcopper.  I am guessing that Hotcopper is happy for any company to flash their products around on Hotcopper and allow discussion...as long as they pay.  Although P&G's Personalisation is a completely different beast in the way in which it will customise molecules, geographical location, climate, humidity etc; it appears that Personalisation seems to be the way forward for all the big players.  Some like P&G are just a little bit late to the party; so let's hope that P&G are able to offer their consumers some kind of tangible 'point of difference' that will make them a stand-out from their competitors:
