At present there is a lot of "conditioning" from the last 20 years.
But we will reach a stage where the Dow will drop 2% or so overnight and noone invested in resources, especially gold stocks will care less.
Because these stocks will decouple from, on a world stage, an increasingly insignificant US economy.
