I totally agree with you, SP. Some decoupling gold price versus Dow took place a while ago. However, when there are big falls in the Dow, we still get them. This is to be expected as part of All Ords being in blue sky. We had good rises over the last few weeks, so we needed a correction. The Dow triggered it.

I think our stockmarket is strongly dependent upon commodity prices and GDP's in China and India.

I hope some HC'ites got some bargains today!
