Don't worry Cortis.
Our daughter (aged 23) did a 'nest flutter'
to Sydney recently to stretch her wings.
Niggling at the back of my election-fevered
brain is a 'Grand Master Plan' that when our
son (who turns 21 in December) leaves or
is booted out of home (to fend for himself)
my wife and I will sit down and discuss
a possible re-location to somewhere
a little wetter and a little warmer
in winter than Canberra has
become since global
warming kicked in.
To those who think I'm anti-Liberal, I'm not.
With four Irish grandparents,
I'm anti-goverment - as this
letter to the Canberra Times
about Labor's Chief Minister
in the ACT Assembly attests:
Dear Editor,
As Canberra's population grows and droughts worsen,
Jon Stanhope embracing every solution except a new
dam (while pillaging 'environmental flows' from dams
others had the courage to build) is bed-wetting
lunacy posing as policy.
When all else fails...
... try group therapy.
