I just sold my 425 shares at $5.15. Brought 400 shares at $5.08 back in July 2014. The other 25 shares came from DRP. Spent most of its time between low to mid $4. Wanted to sell these for a long time (for various reasons). Finally I broke even.
Now I am desperate for money, not sure if I will use this money for life expenses OR hold it until I work out what stock I want to add to?
CCP - at a record high, already + 145%
MYX - at a bargain, average down??? Current loss of 42%
SPL - promising bio, already + 140%
Now I have 8 stocks instead of 9.
Wanted to sell NVT due to a very basic calculation. Current liabilities/ current assets. Made the decision at the beginning of this year - sell when at break even or above. Did not have the patience to see if the up trend will continue because I need money now. Waited 11 months for this moment.
Of course someone can tell me that I am wrong but I need the money. Maybe NVT will improve, especially with the CEO taking over next March. Yet I like Rod Jones and I put too much blind faith in him.
