Gulf, Mik does have contracts in place. The latest was the sale to Bermuda, thru 3M of rfid rego labels. Now that is only 35000 or so cars but it is I believe at 5 bucks a pop and it is every year. The cream will start to rise if any of the US states adopt the technology. 600mill cars in the US and rising. Mik has also a number of small contracts with US Gov't agencies and this is likely to rise as more testing is carried out. There are also other contracts in place in relation to the Subscribe technology. This is run out of Oz and I understand there are some 25 contracts in place. There are not big but are repeat orders. And generally they involve embassys and Govt departments in different countries. Not big as I say but some 5000 labels a month and the business is, I understand growing. Final testing in underway on the printer for Note Printing Aust. Did you know that Oz provides a large proportion of all plastic note material in use in the world; and they print notes for perhaps 30 countries I understand. Speculatively, success with the printer in question could lead to an order for 30+ printers. And we are not talking small mikkies; these things are in the order of $M1.7 each. Some 14 printers have been sold to Italy, China and elsewhere and there is another being negotiated at present for Turkey. These printers range from 100K to 460K each. Negotiations continue re security of utility meters, but the main focus remains on Smart and Secure in the States. Hopes that gives you an insight. Cheers jwt
