No I do not expect the water to disappear, its quite normal to have water saturation around 10 to 30% in oil fields, so no problem with AED statement of 11% water saturations.
The key thing to understand is that most of this water should be present as a thin film of water around the sand grains and is normally not producible, its chemical attached to the sand grains.
So for AED to be suffering already 12% water cut is really significant information and the rational given by the Director/managements as it just being caused by sand mobilizations doesn't wash!!!
