A 60 patient trial is pretty impressive. There is no chance that we could have afforded such an extensive trial in the US. It's the same reason why many of our RNAi competitors ran trials outside of the US.
If the FDA approves the trial and our clinical research organisation has experience in Russia, then I think shouts of corruption at this stage are just scaremongering.
And on the matter of corruption, I seem to remember reading about a number of doctors in the US that are under investigation for prescribing drugs from companies that paid for the doctor to attend expensive conferences an events. Seems human nature is the same wherever one goes.
