Cooked another one slowly simmered in water. Me mum would have been proud. Remember her cooking fab meals in heatwaves in a hot kitchen with no air con and five of us kids.
Even though bigger piece took less time and thought it looked dry but took a taste - beautiful. Have baked potatoes sprinkled with home grown rosemary and sea salt in oven. Cooked it early due to heat. Hope those in Melbourne go okay with those forecasted storms.
Will have a wine tonight and toast to Watso, Mum and the good ol' days.
