Yes, that's right, very pricy stuff at the moment because its scarce. However with the likes of CLQ and AUZ it will become more available for the manufacture of stronger, lighter alloys for aircraft manufacturing, cars including F1 cars, bike frames, fishing rods, golf iron shafts and baseball bats. Scandium iodide is used in mercury vapor lamps, which are used to replicate sunlight in studios for the film and television industry.
