I also agree that an announcement every time the company receives proceeds is over kill. However it would be nice if they did release something in this instance as the deal is absolutely massive for the company.
If memory serves me correct, didn't MGC have a tendency of releasing pointless announcements and declaring trading halts.. (I might be getting mixed up with another company..)
Now that there is a chance for an announcement which is directly monetary, which is why everyone is here, I believe it should be made.
