Did you get the 26 whacks on a Friday.....the teachers use to go a bit crazy by Friday afternoon and there was a caning a plenty at our school just before to 3.10pm end of school bell....on Fridays.....
But 26 canings sounds a bit excessive....I bet it was not from the same teacher either.....they use to take turns at caning you....then again some teachers just loved doing it for all the other teachers.....
