You can make a wounded rabbit sound by blowing onto the edge of a gum leaf stretched between both thumbs.Once my kids and I were bush walking on a rain-forest track in Lamington National Park practicing those whistles whilst we walked when suddenly a large wedgie crashed thru the canopy above with talons outstretched only to pull away at the last moment. Scared us shitless.Reckon they must hunt by sound as well as sight !
