It is worth referring to the valuation/broker reports on the public website. Far from an expected 7.5cents EPS for several years as some posters are stating, the Citigroup report is forecasting 15.3cps in 2008 and 19.6cps in 2009.
Also, based upon a AUD/USD exchange rate of 0.88, and a spot copper price of USD$3.55 (equal to current price) until 2010 (USD2.00 thereafter), Citigroup has a $1.67 valuation estimate on the stock.
While it is difficult to understand all of the reasons for the volatile price action, I have posted before that there are powerful players taking interest in LinQ Resources Fund and its investments (CUO + Others). I remain committed to the value proposition. There is also very good exploration potential in their tenements which is starting to be recognised in there releases to the market and there is a decent exploration budget.
If one has a moderate investment horizon like say 3-6 months then this stock has probable 50% appreciation potential IMHO.
