re: jessica lynch The journalist who wrote the biography and "sighted" the medical report was earlier sacked for dishonesty - other journalists were writing stories for him and publishing under his by-line.
The kid seems alright to me - just sadly fallen into the hands of carpet-baggers and "evil-doers". The US seems to have about 50% that fall into these two categories.
