Interesting and comprehensive article, although originally published 2012 so the table doesn't show current clinical trials. It highlighted the main problems of islet transplants again to me, difficulty sourcing enough of them plus the immunosuppression required after the transplant. DIABECELLto the rescue, now I remember why I bought LCT shares all those years ago!
