Hi Sullivd,
You need to understand that It is not probably one individual releasing parcels of 400 shares.
It could be a seller who instructed his broker to sell 100k-200k-500k.. who knows ?
The broker will not dumped the share on market but will orchestrate the sale through some trailing sell or straddle sell or any other program in place. The algorithm will calculate then the best strategy.
The same goes for any buying strategy.
