Sorry, what I was trying to convey is that while SMN has tax losses they can pay dividends without paying tax. The dividends would be the same as fully franked dividends as we would be receiving 100% of the amount available for distribution, not 70% which would be after tax. Otherwise, they will look at share buybacks as an alternative to paying unfranked dividends.
