I think I know what is puzzling you lemas.
Why are people selling their options when only yesterday we received what was excellent news?

This is normal market behaviour unless the news had been 'really fantastic', like 6% gold found present in drilling swarf or something.
Remember, millions of these options were received free in the share offer earlier in the year.
Many people who received them are uncertain about what might happen in the time from now to expiry.
They have seen the value slipping back as the drilling encounters delays. Now, yesterday the price of the stock and the options has a good fillip on the Origin announcement. From 30c and under up to a high of 43c, to close at 37.5c. That's still up 25% from Fridays close, and remember, they likely got them for nothing!

So they say, I'm not being greedy, or, I can't stand this any longer and they sell. That is fine.

It is the same with the shares, $1.66 to $1.88 (up 14%) at one point yesterday. Closed at $1.80 (up 8.5%). Today, hovering around the $1.80 still, but still up 20c on Fridays close.
So weak bulls or nervous share holders whatever, also say "That'll do, I'm out." Market behaviour and common after a good jump up.
Now the air has been cleared a bit and say next Tuesady it is reported that the drilling is recommencing one might well expect a continuation upward. As the drilling will undoubtedly recommence soon the stock and options might well continue to trend up even sooner.

Hope that gives you a feel for what causes this sometimes seemingly crazy market behaviour.
