GR just some observations as hmmm approx 6 months ago the son of a friend (still in his teens )said he had some bitcoin,i gave my opinion and now wish i had of kept my mouth shut.
So bitcoin ,a potential globally accepted currency?,doesn't make sense to me ie the euro is a serious failure for europe as weaker countries can't compete with stronger currencies based on same exchange rate.So how can bitcoin become a globally accepted currency?
Clearly if each country used its own currency to buy bitcoin then u have some type of realistic way for bitcoin to become a global currency, but again whats the point.? its just like a 'middle man currency' not performing any purpose ie as far as i can c it would have to b supported by a currency ie the USD or/and Yuan..
If its being bought as a safe haven due to global loss of confidence in global currencies, well lol i'll open my mouth,if global currencies fail as some r predicting y would u feel bitcoin is a safe haven ie compared to other forms of so called safe havens like gold.ie best advice i have heard from a global investor if currencies fail due to QE,make sure u own a sml hobby farm.
As posted, apple (applepay) has been working on 'tokenisation' for many years, and due to its partnership with alibaba (alipay china) when they feel their ready to introduce such a cashless currency it will b the beginning of the end of cash.
But imo only ,each country must try and have control of its exchange rate in order to b competitive, the obvious example being germany and greece using the euro, makes no sense.

-as a so called cashless currency its gone from approx $1000 to what 10k or $15k in approx 1 or 2 years,is that the way a currency should perform?,would u take bitcoins for a property?.
Just my opinion, but when u have no way of valuing something how can u place a value on it.
ps read something the other day some prediction suggesting bitcoin could go to $60,000 then drop to $1000.Reminds me of penns prediction that revenue will increase $500m in 2021.
    Time for second coffee.
ps we r gambling enough with penn, chair ,nas , then u post that news on adelaide cbd, thats enough gambling with out tls accepting bitcoins imo.
