Does anyone know what happened to the Southdown project?
The following YouTube video from many years ago shows what a large project it was going to be.
Was it delayed due to any particular aspect of the proposal. Eg. port deepening, energy required, lack of capital, low ore prices?
Looks like it was going to be a 10 mt per annum project.
Last few reports from the company didn't really shed any light on what the delay may be except to say they are working on it to ensure that leases are still valid.
Any update?
