Thanks for the informative posts @Neoarchean. What was driving Cobalt prices so high in 2007? Was it a thematic cause - like broadly rising demand from battery usage (in mobile phones?) at the time - or some other factor(s)? Whatever the catalyst, the price fell off a cliff during the GFC.
