The futures are betting on the future price and cash settled with no bitcoin changing hands. You use them to hedge not short the market. You have to buy real btc first then sell it to drive market down to make money that way but the leverage is pretty low and 75% of the market is still asia. All the talk about wall street taking over is inflated crap.
