What price for a full takeover?

Given the advanced state of oncology asset sales and the potential for major up front and milestone payments from Merck and whoever licenses BNC 210 and BNC 105, I am interested to know what price shareholders should consider a fair price for the company.

Nobody much seems to want to discuss its prospects, so I thought I would see if anyone on HC has a takeover price target that is rational, based on some kind of valuation metrics.

Come on punters - what is it worth?

There are not many buyers or sellers at 40c - so is it only worth 40c in a fire sale or is it worth as much as the various analysts reckon.

If it really is worth 70c (as suggested by Bell Potter) or $1.50 (as suggested by Shaw) or some price in between, then why isn't anyone buying the stock?

My shares are available at the lower end of the price target range.

Where is the buying from the Board and the executives if they genuinely concur with the broker valuations - and don't tell me that the CEO just exercised options.........

She is probably selling the resulting shares at 40c and pocketing the difference between market and the option exercise price.......

Why indeed does she not own a LOT more shares than she does, given her salary and her convictions about the value and success of the company?

    Please explain.........
