Lactalis powder global recall

Just reading a report on the BBC that a French company just issued a global recall of 7000 tonnes of powder suspected to be contaminated with Salmonella.

Interesting how this can impact other brands.... Opportunity or risk? They sell in China though I don't know ow if they have CFDA approval.

Just shows what a small lack of attention to detail can do in quality control

Rough calculations put 7000 tonnes at 1kg per tin is 7 million units, let's say at 25 percent of the shelf price of 25 bucks is getting on for $40 million direct cost to the company.
