I agree with you, too much reliance on discounting and not much on service but this could also be due to lack of understanding of how to improve services which will encourage more customers to visit. Pharmacies are in the box seat but most pharmacies don't use all their advantages because they never needed to and I blame the Guild for their over protection of the Pharmacy sector. True competition would have been better coming sooner imo.
