INDUSTREA FINALIST IN QUEENSLAND EXPORT AWARDS
Industrea Limited (ASX:IDL), a leading global provider of mining products and services, has been
named a finalist in the Large Advanced Manufacturer category of the Premier of Queensland’s
Export Awards 2007.
State Minister for Transport, Trade, Employment and Industrial Relations, Hon. John Mickel
congratulated Industrea on its on-going success and the role the company played “as a leading
exporter in Queensland, the benchmark you set for other Queensland businesses and the
contribution you and your staff have made”.
Robin Levison, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Industrea, said being named a
finalist in the Premier’s Export Awards was recognition of IDL’s continued geographical spread of
customers and penetration with the world’s leading mining companies.
“Global mining companies including BHP/BMA, Anglo Coal and the China-based Shenhua Coal
Group have all signed material contracts with Industrea in the past year,” he said.
“And last month Industrea announced it had secured its maiden contract in the burgeoning Russian
resources market with a deal to supply directional drilling and coal seam degasification equipment.”
Mr Levison said Industrea’s growing number of domestic and international customers has been
coupled with an expanding range of mining products and services, predominantly in the safety and
productivity area.
“This has been achieved through both organic growth and judicious acquisitions which are EPS
positive,” he said.
“The past 12 months has seen us achieving our strategic objectives of building a foundation for
consistent, long-term earnings growth and the creation of further shareholder wealth.
“Being named in the Premier’s Export Awards caps what has been an exceptional year for
Industrea.”
