Just read the GSC release today on the “ground breaking discovery” around the heap leach processing. Two comments really stand out to me
“GSC - Rapid Leach times: 30 days to get to 80% and 41 days to get circa 90%.”
ABR’s recent release about their leach testing “achieves boron recoveries of 98.5% and lithium recoveries of 48.3%” IN ONLY 6 HOURS! If 41 days is “rapid” what does one call ABR’s 6 hours turnaround?
“GSC - Moderate acid consumption. 413kg per tonne of ore.”
GSC needs nearly half a tonne of acid for one tonne of ore. This is “moderate” consumption. How much acid will they need when they are in production? How big is their leach field going to be? I wonder what type of permit they will need for that?
ABR needs the spin doctors that GSC use.
Hopefully the ABR scoping study will make things a bit clearer especially on the acid consumption.
