Like @Judith10 I too purchased a couple of Port Phillip products a few years ago now - they certainly weren't "earners" but I did learn.
I learnt many things but amongst the most important was:
- to do my own very thorough research
- that each and every investor is likely to have a different "spin"
- different brains "see" different chart patterns
- that social media can be just as positive or devastating to a ticker SP as a good or bad Ann
- almost everyone becomes emotive when their hard earned takes a hit
- following the crowd means buying too high
- the only strategy that will work is your own
- mistakes are learning opportunities too
- persistence & patience pay well
