Strong dollar does not mean high dollar and never has.
"Strong" means reliable or trustworthy or cashable.
All currencies in the modern capitalist arena fluctuate as they should reflecting their respective worth.
So the $US is greatly diminished on a comparative value basis to other currencies but it is still the currency of choice for reliability.
That is what a "strong" dollar means.
That may well change but don't get confused between strong and high.
