Conceptually it’s a great idea and yes it could be very successful if it was well executed which we seem to agree hasn’t occurred to date. I jumped on because of the potential too but it doesn’t look like achieving that potential anytime soon so no point tying up capital and can always come back later.
While people rabbit on about Facebook and a few others – those companies didn’t list for years and had business models in place by the time they did. Prior to that – there was a lot of funding rounds which diluted the founders down to minor percentages. My concern here is that there appears to be a long way to go and probably the only one who is going to make any money will be Mr Barry after he dilutes the hell out of everyone else.
Hopefully this doesn’t go the way of Moko Media (MKB) – Nasdaq isn’t always the golden goose – check out the old HC posts over there as it sunk into oblivion – déjà vu?
