Bit of a pump by the CN holder perhaps, looking to capitalise on the current sentiment, hype, anticipation etc...
IMO it wouldn't be too hard to start a premature pump at the moment. If you have enough shares you can stack the buy side and maybe take out a large chunk of the sell side in one hit. Retail investors get excited thinking something's about to happen and jump on board in a frenzy, traders may jump on trying to get a few pips too. CN holder then liquidates 10 million or so. No announcement comes, everything goes back to normal and gets quite for a while. I don't think there'd be many CN's left now, and TBH I am quite pleased that it seems to have been handled in a relatively controlled fashion.
Up on high volume and down on low volume is a good sign. And the chart still looks good in my opinion, consolidating after the big spike and with higher lows over the previous 2-months, signalling a general uptrend. I would love for it to close on 0.018 tomorrow, simply because I like really pretty charts.
What everyone is waiting on is a juicy price-sensitive announcement though.
