For reasons that escape me, BillyBongo is concerned about the welfare of people smugglers.
Comment one:
The term people 'smuggler' is a derogatory term when applied to refugees. Only inaminate objects can be 'smuggled'.
People who *choose* to seek asylum in Australia are not drugs or booze or French perfume.
They are human beings and deserve our respect.
Comment two:
If BillyBongo is concened about the welfare of unofficial travel agents, perhaps he should form a Society For The Relief of Distress Among Unofficial Travel Agents.
Personally, I consider that refugees have a greater need for our kindness.
