Seen that few times since 1996 and most ended up well. My written calls went on overdrive and was easy pickings at spec end as the big boys picked up a handful and kept pumping...PTD, UNI, HDR, CST, etc etc and there were fantastic bounces. But a lesson learned from the 1998 was to have plenty cashed up in specs during volatility.
