What we are witnessing is the emergence of a company. SVM was just another graphite play but thanks to the good doctor and his Malingunde find along with Middelmas doing it again with a junior.
His increase in holding has been very very significant. A previous large purchase at no discount (on market) and his recent very large purchase in the capital raising.
I don't feel he is risking his money nor reputation on a hunch.
The key to his increase in holding is timing. It's all been recent simply due to the Doctor's saprolite hosted discovery.
All other directors (long term) also have substantial holdings. That's a motivating factor always.
Deals with graphite are one on one - that is to say entering the market can be difficult.
However with a quality product (30 000t) in circulation to prospective end users - quality management with a track record - confirmed supply logistics - all is looking well.
