Here is a visual of the stimulated reservoir, showing the zone of fracturing that HAB3 is to intersect. Interestingly, HAB4 will be drilled 9.2km from HAB1, beyond the current reservoir zone. By doing this the company can engineer a second zone of hydraulic fracturing, to prove the replicability of the heat exchanger. Also, there is a higher thermal gradient at the point where HAB4 will be drilled, measured at 193°C @ 2850m (for an extrapolated gradient of nearly 68°C/km). It is likely that there are numerous zones with higher heat anomalies, allowing project economics to be upgraded further whilst expanding reserves.
