@TJ22 - 'makes no sense' - agreed & it has made no sense for 12 months.
Every bit of good news has created a spike which is sold into & SP slowly ground down.
However IMO this is the most significant ann for a LONG time = MIN an amazingly successful, forward looking, A$3.5 Billion company is signing a binding agreement so they either don't care if the patent is granted or think it will be, either way now it does not matter +++ they have one of the best engineering teams in Australian working on this project - truly amazing.
It would not surprise me at all to hear that big oil is actually working on this project right now with the idea that if the patent is not granted they are into 'green' H2 production with their massive gas resources ASAP - however it is a gamble that MIN obviously is not prepared to take - interesting, very interesting.
IMO the vol today is small so far considering the nature of this agreement.
A$36 Mil MC for all this potential is IMO absolutely crazy cheap !!
