gold has broken the shackles

.... whether they be real or imaginary, gold has broken out well and truly with precious little resistance standing in the way of its all time high.

Remember all the posturing from GATA about the anti-gold cartel and the likes of Barrick trying to supress gold's rise?

I did have my doubts about such conspiracy theories. If true, gold has now broken free and there seems no stopping it.

Conspiracy theories aside (and I don't ascribe to them, by the way) gold is going through the roof because the US$ is shot to hell and the oil price is on an upward trajectory.

Or could it be that rising gold and oil is predictive of a US attack on Iran? And that is not out of the question.
