Wowo could end up being another PAL type Nickel operation like Goro and Halmahera as there is I am guessing 200 milllion tons of ore and the ore leaches in around 40 minutes for leaching not as quick as Gag Island but still respectable but one would be looking at a $2 B operation producing around 50,000 tons per annum of Ni.
A sweetner would be someway of improving the grade of the ore before it gets to the ROM pad like what Herron are looking at doing to improve the economics as in theory the CAPEX would remain the same no matter what grade of ore gets treated.

From a Direct shipping operation view point the capex is low but the OPEX would kill it due to transportation over several hundred kms of rough road to Oro bay for $50.00 a ton limonite ore

Looking at the iron ore several larger iron ore companies (MGX, Cape lambert, and I think Simion )have bought and sold their shares in this due to realising its too small to develop as the resource size did not eventauate and contaminants in the ore were higher than expected and the estuary needs dredging

but dont believe me I got it wrong with FMG and Wowo could turn out to be one massive Ni laterite resource with an NPV around $5 Billion US
