I am always amazed when Directors talk 'incentive options' to 'reward' and 'encourage' staff.

It is 'shareholders' who need to be rewarded....I am big on incentives in life...but the strike prices are unrealistic for a market cap and producer that Uran has promoted itself as. In short they are selling us out and not acknowledging the dramatic falls. They are looking to issue these at a low point in the share price. Its an opportunistic grab for cash with strike prices THAT WILL NOT REFLECT A PRODUCING OPERATION.

An example. Purely fictitious of course....

Imagine ive been given $10 million by a group of people (shareholders) to develop a business. I promise them that I will deliver and will produce the goods in 6 months time, and that their investment will be returned in multiples. I tell them I can do what 100 other businesses in my sector can only dream about.
I then sell my story to all and sundry ......then when the honeymoon period is over..AND ITS TIME TO DELIVER...

    Everyone believes me :)

I realise I cant deliver. People leave my company. Those outside my company wanting to promote it are not given any information because I cant give them what I dont have. I decide to go quiet. I talk of reasons why I cant disclose information. I speak of 'sensitive negotiations' I speak of confidentiality issues, of political issues, of secrecy issues...in fact I think of anything I can to avoid disclosing information i simply dont have.

Its now 12 months later. My $10 million is now barely $1.5 million. I realise I must produce something. I ensure that 'the story' continues so I am careful to 'negotiate' on any level to 'appear' to be in the mix with potential deals and business acquisitions. Sometimes these negotiations are an afternoon of chit chat and a visit to various businesses.

I manage to lure shareholders into a capital raising. I sell them more shares and have more money.
The shareholders are still not told anything 'of substance'. I manage to grab another couple of million dollars from opportunistic investors that 'heard the story' I take that knowing the 'stories' will not eventuate.
I now have around $5 million but have to face my shareholders.

All of my promises have not eventuated. I have managed to cover my tracks and create business opportunities in several countries and have managed to be seen at the right places. Hell ive even managed to be a guest speaker at a few events.

    I still have nothing.

With $5 million in the kitty, my shareholders way down on their investment and not happy I need a diversion and I need to accentuate rewards options for myself and my staff.

I know the share price is low. The strike price for these rewards will be low relative to where my company has been. I KNOW I can strike these with the right announcements at the right time. I know this because ive done it before.

I meet my shareholders. They buy the stories. Gee I was good. Another 12 months and $5 million to spend.
Maybe I might get lucky and do one of these deals.....

    Folks, i'd like to give Uran directors some options;

How about creating shareholder value? thats a good option.

How about buying some on market shares and do it on zero % interest funded by the company (us)
If they go up...theres their incentive. If they go down...well welcome to the club ;)

How about the option to come clean to investors/shareholders?

How about the option to acknowledge the failures over the last 12 months and eroded shareholder value and ETHICALLY move a motion to NOT acquire options based on NON PERFORMANCE?

As with 'virtual projects' I suggest the issue of 'virtual options'
They will appear when acquisitions and production eventuate...prior to that they are holographic images and are worthless regardless of share price.
