We just have to remember that to produce 500,000 full electric vehicles per annum would require the worlds entire current production of lithium.
Toyota want to produce 5.5 million by 2030 and then there's every other motor manufacturer in the world. Busses, trucks, battery storage etc etc.
There'll never be an oversupply of lithium. Never.
