some poeple are comparing nem to the moves in the us dollar...nem's costs are in the various countries of extraction. but the oz economy is going to get that sub prime headwind as has the us via the morgage drama.but in say 9 months more or less. england's already feeling it..the various economies are like a big chain reaction wave but the states is the first to suffer....just as the us exports start to gain traction boosting gdp the ecb will feel the need to reduce rates as housing is sick like the us is now...all currencies depreciate against gold..When the euro starts to drop against gold NEM will fly..all gold stocks..
