Thick as a house brick and a stack of Planks.....Mr Wotsup, the verses themselves describe the event they are describing, that being the nature of a description. A description, if you can get this to penetrate your thick skull, is telling you about the nature and features of thing it is describing. It is not talking about some other event, a second event or a third or fourth event, but the very event it describes.
That is what the quoted verses are doing. They are describing an event, the return of Jesus in Power and Glory and when this is promised to happen....they are not describing this but inexplicably intending another event, a second event.
Please, Mr Wotsup, please, for all our sakes....go and do a course on basic logic and reason .
