Dear oh dear Benny. Still with the media conspiracies and union bosses and commies.

I do love the Manchurian candidate idea, nice touch, but that one has been done mate. If you want to break into the big Hollywood scene you need some original ideas. By the way I thought Sinatra was at his best in that original Frankenheimer production.

I really don't know where you come up with your ideas, Readers Digest perhaps? Here's something you said that particularly tickled my funny bone...

And a great part of what is causing stress is a mass of labor-inherited social and infrastructure bottlenecks that, like most legacy issues, take a long series of small and painful steps to clear up

Sorry Benny boy, what is causing the stress is Howard's failure in 11 years of economic good times to address this countries educational infrastructure. Tafe has decayed, our universities have been underfunded and have declined, in large part, to substandard degree shops for those who can afford to pay. The public education system has been whiteanted to the point today where it is basket case. We just don't have the manpower we need.

All this means of course, that we are forced to import our manpower not only to the detriment of those countries from whom we are stealing those skills but to the detriment of our major cities as the infrastructure and housing are unavailable. Hence the inflation in house prices.

So you see Benny, the answer must be laid at the feet of your hero John Winston Howard. What a pity he has feet of clay. What a pity (for you) that in the years to come he will be recalled as Australia's worst ever prime minister.
