Looks like 2018 is shaping up to be a very interesting year for cobalt. Here are two articles worth a read as you sip your egg nog:
    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...cobalt-mine-heads-to-court-halts-metal-supply
    https://www.platts.com/latest-news/...imb-after-cobalt-27s-800-mt-purchase-21891798
From the first article, there will be a shortfall of at least 4% in global cobalt supply as a result of the legal problems surrounding Gecamines. Apparently this will continue through to 2020.
The second article relates to Cobalt 27 buying up more physical cobalt in December. All this points to overall sentiment that the cobalt supply chain will continue to tighten in the coming years. This sentiment is nothing new. People in the battery industry have been pointing to cobalt supply being the bottleneck for mass battery production since 2016.
To hold ARL at this point in time is a great feeling! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
