time to get out now !!

I am/was a LOOKSMART customer as recently as last week (with my businesses) and just got the following email from them through ... this is probably the final nail in the LOOKSMART coffin .... so would suggest getting out now as YAHOO/OVERTURE would have been their biggest source of revenue... and when this gets out .. well you can guess...

Yahoo! Australia & New Zealand has recently informed us of their intention to commence using Overture to supply their pay for placement search results in the New Year. Overture is now owned by Yahoo!, therefore it was inevitable that their Sponsor Matches service would move "in house", in line with all other markets in which Yahoo! operates.

LookSmart Australia has been partnered with Yahoo! Australia & New Zealand since April 2002, and we would like to wish them every success for their business in the future.
