I believe there are a number of issues in comparing Ardea and JV Mt Thirsty.
1. The mineral deposit is not well understood in the market. Most Cobalt comes as a by-product of copper /nickle mining. Mt Thirsty is different in that it is oxidised. Maybe for that reason the market is cautiously waiting for more positive news on extraction rates for Cobalt and Nickle.
2. There is already a heap of issued shares and options in both the JV partners in the market. Ardea does not have anywhere near that number of issued shares.
3. The JV has not really started to market the mine whilst waiting for the anticipated continuing rise in demand for Cobalt and Nickle (INMHO).
These are some of the differences that I see. Other more informed forum members will no doubt have other points of difference to mention.
